Différence entre Bonjour et Bonsoir

Bonjour / Good morning!

Savez-vous quelle est la différence entre "Bonjour" et "Bonsoir"? Ils signifient à peu près la même chose, ce sont deux mots qu'on utilise pour saluer quelqu'un mais en fait, officiellement, on pourrait dire que Bonjour s'utilise jusqu'à 19h et à partir de ce moment-là on commence à utiliser Bonsoir. Par contre, ceci n'est pas fixe. Il se peut qu'on commence à dire Bonsoir plus tôt, surtout s'il fait déjà nuit à 18h, comme en hiver par exemple.

Bonne journée et bonne soirée ont une utilisation similaire mais s'utilisent pour dire Au revoir et, si vous êtes quelqu'un de sympa 😜, souhaiter, voilà, une bonne journée ou soirée à la personne.

Do you know the difference between Bonjour and Bonsoir? They both mean almost the same thing (Hello or Good Morning / Evening) but they are used at different times of the day. Usually and "officially", we would say Bonjour until 7 p.m and Bonsoir from that moment on but it gets dark a bit sooner, say 6 p.m for instance, like it does in the winter, we can start say Bonsoir sooner and there's no problem with that! 

Bonne journée and bonne soirée also have a similar use but you say them when you want to say goodbye to someone and, if you're a nice person 😜, you would wish them a good day or evening.
